Studio Policies: 2025–2026 Academic Year
Payment Policies
Invoices will be issued at the beginning of each month. Prompt payment is appreciated. A late fee of $15.00 will be applied to any outstanding balances not paid by the end of the month. This fee is due immediately, along with the remaining balance. Repeated missed payments may result in the discontinuation of lessons.

Lesson Rates
All rates are set in alignment with local industry standards and reflect the cost of living in British Columbia.

Annual Registration Fee: $30.00 (charged with the first invoice of the academic year)

Regular Lessons:

30 minutes – $38.00

45 minutes – $55.00

60 minutes – $72.00
RCM Exam & Festival Preparation Lessons:
-
30 minutes – $40.00
-
45 minutes – $57.00
-
60 minutes – $74.00
Theory Lessons:
-
30 minutes – $36.00
Late Payment Fee: $15.00
Attendance & Cancellations
Student Absences:
At least 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. With adequate notice, lessons may be rescheduled or credited toward the next month’s invoice.
No-shows or late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) will be charged in full.

Teacher Absences:
Any lessons missed due to teacher absence will be rescheduled or credited toward the following month’s invoice.
Withdrawal Policy
A minimum of one month’s notice is required for early withdrawal from lessons. If proper notice is not given, the equivalent of one month’s tuition will be due.
Lesson Schedule & Holidays
Regular lessons run from September 2, 2025, to June 19, 2026.

No lessons will be held during the following breaks:

Winter Break: December 22 – January 2

Spring Break: March 16 – March 27

Statutory Holidays: No lessons will be held on official holidays
Registration, Re-Registration & Waitlist
To maintain enrollment and scheduling priority for the next academic year, students must book a minimum of three (3) Summer Maintenance Lessons.

The annual registration fee of $30.00 will be charged with your first invoice each academic year.
​
Waitlisted students will be contacted in the order they were added as lesson times become available.
Health & Safety
Illness & Online Lessons:
If a student is unwell, an online lesson may be offered in place of an in-person session. This must be requested by 3:30 PM on the day of the lesson.

Students may be asked to wear a mask in cases of confirmed or potential exposure to COVID-19.

Hygiene & Cleaning Protocols:

All students are required to wash hands or use hand sanitizer before each lesson.

Hand sanitizer will be provided on-site.
-
High-touch surfaces (e.g., piano, door handles, washroom) will be disinfected regularly.
Emergency Procedures
First aid kits and fire extinguishers are maintained on-site.
